Lucille Powell is someone we would like to honor this month. This lady is my wife’s grandmother. She will be 101 years old on April 15th. Last week she has been having some health problems. If you will pray for her to receive strength, we would be grateful.
Before I could send this to the printer, on February 29 Grandma Powell took her last breath and entered her eternal home with Jesus. Thank you, Grandma, for living your life well.

We met a promising young man in Haiti this last August. His name is Yvano Marseille. He is in his third year of medical training. His story is unusual in that his parents would like him to study something easier that he could finish soon and begin to earn money. Sometimes the shorter route seems better, but it will not get him to his dreams. He has desired to be a doctor since he was a little boy. Yvano continues his medical career hoping to someday study orthopedics. Our interview with him can be seen here: Yvano Marseille Interview
Haiti continues to need your prayer for peace and hope.
Carnival holiday was canceled this year due to violence between the Haiti police and the government army. The police are angry with their low wages of $200 a year with no retirement benefits nor health insurance.
You wouldn’t recognize it in Indiana right now, but spring is around the corner. Snow is covering the ground in a heavy white blanket. We were recently in Georgia visiting good friends and took this beautiful picture of daffodils. It was a pleasant reminder of what is soon to come to us in the north.
With that in mind, we would love to come see you in person over the next few months.

We will need 2 rooms for lodging. Because of allergies we request they be pet free. As usual, we ask for an offering to help defray the travel costs.
Please mark your dates in the order of your preference, the time your service begins and contact information. We will try to accommodate your first choice, but in order to see as many of you as possible, we may have to go with your second or third choice.
